Upsize

Top: Free People (here) | Bag: Daily Look (here and in different colors) | Flats: Target | Necklace: Forever21 (sold out, loving these here) | Sunglasses: Zara
Depending on where I buy my clothes, my clothes range from XS to an XL. I know that my measurements fluctuate quite a bit, but all in all, I know it’s not me. I remember the days when I refused to purchase something if the size number was too big. Yep, we’ve all been there. If you claim to be a certain size, you’re either lying through your teeth or you shop for all your clothes in one store.
I love anything oversize and baggy so this top definitely fit the bill. I have a few pieces from Free People and I just love the quality of their clothes. It has to be the magic fabrics they use because the shirts wash and dry beautifully with no detectable fading or shrinking. Their clothes run larger so it’s always a thrill when I can put on an XS and still devour a huge meal.

Colorblock Summer Dress

Dress: H & M (old, lusting over these)  | Shoes: Target (similar on sale here)

I thought I would post this one last  summer outfit post because I can't even face the reality of snow outside. So just for the next few hours, I'm just going to sit here and think about summer in all its glory.
If you asked me to define an easy breezy summer glam, I would say maxi dress with sandals and of course, icecream on hand. Effortless maxi dresses are a summer staple for me because as lazy as I am, I get even lazier when the temperature rises. I tend to not care about my hair and makeup when it gets too hot. I like to think that I've mastered the lazy yet glam look. Fake the glam look by throwing on some colour to the lips and adding some jewels.

Denim Overalls

Overalls: Target | Shoes: Converse (here) | Sunglasses: Zara | Top: Victorias Secret (old)

Anything that's made for comfort and simple wear, this girl's all over it. So when overalls/dungarees came back in fashion, I was super excited. I think it's one of those pieces that you either hate it or love it. I for one, love it!! I can think of a million ways to style these, either dressed up or down.
What do you guys think of overalls? Yay or nay?

The Spring Coat featuring SheInside

Jacket: c/o Sheinside (here) | Jeans: Topshop (here) | Clutch: Chapters Indigo | Heels: Target (old) | Necklace: Ardene

I've been on a hunt for a neutral trench jacket and couldn't be more thankful when SheInside gifted me this one. It's perfect for the Spring as it's lightweight and I feel that it compliments all skin colors! For my outfit, I decided to pair it with my mom jeans from Topshop. Yes I said it, mom jeans. These are the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever worn and perfect for the crop top season. To glam it up a bit, I added some gold accessories. I can think of a million ways to pair this with different outfits and hopefully share them with you guys later on.
If you guys haven't seen their website, go check them out here. You can shop for the trendiest pieces at such affordable prices! Thank you again SheInside!

Pencil Skirt and Crop Top

Skirt: H&M (similar here) | Crop top: H&M (want this one here) | Jacket: Jcrew | Sunglasses: Aldo | Necklace: Ardenes | Shoes: Target | Bag: Aldo

The pencil skirt and crop top combo has been a favourite of mine and I am so happy I can finally start sporting the look now that the weather is permitting. From runways to red carpets, this combo has been a featured trend in style. If you're short like me, this will be your go-to because It gives the illusion of elongated legs. The modest knee length pencil skirt also balances out the flash of skin on the upper half of the body. Dressed up or down, this combo works for everyone.

Minimalist

Vest: Target (here) | Shoes: H&M | Jeans: Denim and Supply (here)  | Clutch: Chapters Indigo (sold out but other cute ones here) | Necklace: Ardenes (similar here) | Top: H&M

There's something about this oversized crisp white vest that I love so much. It's minimalistic and so versatile at the same time. Dressed up or dressed down, I think this is going to be a perfect piece for the spring season. The one I'm wearing is from Target. By the way, Target has the cutest spring collection right now. Go check it out!

Leopard and Pink

Jacket: Zara (similar here) | Shoes: Target (similar and on sale here) | Necklace: Forever21 | Belt: Target | Clutch: Banana Republic (want this here) Pants: Rachel Roy via Winners

Happy Monday! This weekend went by way too fast. I spent my weekend mostly with my bff Denean, as she will be moving away to Vancouver in April. We spent all of Saturday morning filming a fun shoot which I will have up soon on my blog. I can't wait to share it with you guys!

On to the outfit, I bring this pink coat with me whenever I wear a simple black and white outfit like this one. I added the leopard accessories because I love me some prints and a gold necklace to dress it up a bit. Hope you like it!

Simple Look

Shoes: Aldo | Dress: Noisy May (similar here) | Scarf: Target  | Clutch: Material Girl (old but loving this here)

This outfit was taken during the coldest week this year. I still wore a dress hoping that winter might take a hint. I still wore a jacket over the dress but for the sake of the photos, I threw it aside. Here's to hoping that this might be my last cold winter outfit post until around October.

Happy Monday!

Fresh Start

Shoes: Steve Madden | Pants: Target | Bag: Jcrew | Sweater: H&M

Goodbye 2013, hello 2014! There are so many things to look forward to this year and hope to share some of them with you. I am also so thankful for all the blessings that came my way last year and all the wonderful people I met through blogging. 2013 was also a challenging year for me, but what's life without them? I learned a few things along the way, like letting go, moving on without looking back, and remembering that there it's impossible to please everyone. If you know me personally, you know that I try to control every aspect of my life. I stress about things that shouldn't matter and have lost countless nights of sleep because of it. Things are going to change this year and there is no better feeling than a fresh new start.

Anyway, here is my first outfit of 2014 to share with you guys and I hope that you also share your resolution on the comments below!

Here is to new beginnings and hopefully more hours of sleep. :)  xx
