Sweater season! It's a love and hate relationship I must say. I love it because I can hide the fact that my diet changes during this time of the year (Not that my diet is any better in the summer). Hate, because I live in one of the coldest cities. Ever. Sweaters are not only a fashion trend, but also an absolute necessity here. In saying that, sweaters are something I don't usually mind spending a little more money than I usually would on a piece of clothing. 

This sweater is from the 3.1 Target x Phillip Lim collection that just blew over recently. I missed out on a lot of the pieces but I still managed to get my hands on this sweater. On sale, I might add. I loved the classic look and the subtle gems that wrapped halfway around the neck. I didn't really capture the details in the pictures as much as I had wanted to but you either get the point or you are probably one of the ones who own it. :)

Incase you didn't already know, plaid is a popular pattern of choice this fall. Although, I have to say that plaid has been something I avoid like a plague just because it reminds me of my Junior high uniform. All of which consisted a plaid skirt, below the knee socks, and a white button up shirt. It gives me the shivers just thinking about it. Then, my view changed, just slightly, when I came across this sweatshirt at Forever21. Ofcourse, I also never say no to a comfy sweatshirt. I have no regrets with this purchase and slowly will be trying out different plaid pieces this fall. What's your take on the plaid trend?

Christmas Shopping and Sunday OOTD

How many of you already started your Christmas shopping? I always say at the beginning of November that I will do my shopping earlier than the last Christmas. As some of you may know, I have an online store where I purchase a handful of my day to day needs and gifts. I love buying them online now just to avoid having to go through one store after another just to find the perfect gift. The returns are easy and can be less expensive. I love comparing prices and google reviews while I'm shopping. Another reason is that the site will also ship your gifts for you. If you are buying and sending within Canada, they will ship directly to the person you want to send it to. I don't need to go through all that hassle with the post office and packing tape. :) haha. I hate making snappy decisions so I try to avoid standing in an aisle at any stores trying to figure out whether or not my mom will like them. Online shopping is definitely the way to go!

Now on to my outfit! The weather has been extremely cold here in Alberta, so I have been obsessed with layering simple pieces. One of my favourite go to pieces are sweaters and sweatshirts. This one that I'm wearing is super thick and warm already that I didn't need a jacket. If you search your nearest Joe Fresh retailer, I think you may still be able to pick this one up.
