Festival Outfit Inspiration

Top & Hat: H&M (here) | Shorts: William Rast via Winners |  Shoes: Denim and Supply

I am not one to attend a music festival scene but I was fantasizing about what I'd wear if I was going to one. Despite my lack of ticket and funds to a music festival, here's a festival inspired outfit from yours truly. Easy breezy is the name of the game for me during the summer. I never know what state I'll be in, so wearing something forgiving is a necessity. I spotted this blouse at H&M a couple of weeks ago and didn't even think twice to purchase it. It can be worn two ways, as a blouse or as a kimono top. Now, if only going to work or running errands was like going to a music festival.

Lovers & Friends | Spring Essentials

Jean Jacket: Forever21 (Similar here) |  Sunglasses: Forever21 | Crop top: Topshop (Craving these)| Pants: Lovers and Friends (here) | Shoes: H&M | Earrings: Winners (Similar here) | Bag: Armani

I'm sure you all know by now that there's nothing like a pair of floral print pants to brighten up my day. Lovers & Friends carries this print in a maxi dress, jumpsuit, and a bomber jacket. I wanted all of it, but of course my wallet wouldn't allow it. I paired them with my basics to show you my spring essentials.

Jean Jacket: Just like a trench coat, this is a basic that will never go out of style. I wear mine often with a tee or with a dress for the "casual chic" look.

Patent Bag: Just to swap out my usual black leather bag I lug around all winter, I wore a patented black bag for a more polished look.

Open toe heels: Every girl needs this in their closet. I love the chunkier heel on this because it was comfortable enough to walk around with all day. I start wearing mine during this time of the year as I don't plan on trudging through the snow with open toes in -40 weather.

Crop top: Here's a basic white crop top that's so versatile to put over a dress, high waist pants, high waist pencil skirts.....high waist everything! You get the point.

What do you think? What's your spring essentials?

Feeling Like Spring

Shoes: Aldo (sold out) | Jeans: Guess (DIY rips) | Top: Joe Fresh (similar here) | Bag: Zara (loving these) | Earrings: Forever21 (similar here) | Hat: H&M (similar here)
Finally getting around to putting this post up, but no longer relevant to today's weather.
It felt like spring was just around the corner last week so I thought I'd whip out my floral print top. Although, it's still likely that I will throw on florals throughout the year. This has to be my favourite print of all time just because it adds a feminine touch to any outfit. I’m even loving it more this season as more stores are coming out with different styles and  colors. Who else is loving florals?
